We recently had the opportunity to sit down with Rachel, the founder of Maclynn, a high-end matchmaking agency that focuses on psychological principles to help individuals find meaningful connections. A Serendipitous Start 

Rachel's path into the dating industry was not one she had planned. In 2006, while grieving the loss of her father and ending a long-term relationship, she stumbled upon an opportunity to join a high-end matchmaking agency in London. The role resonated deeply with her background as a business psychologist, where she enjoyed one-on-one interactions and helping people achieve their goals. Seeing the potential for growth in the dating industry, Rachel took the leap and eventually launched her own agency, Maclynn (formerly Vida), in 2011. 

The Evolution of Modern Love 

In today's tech-driven world, dating apps have revolutionized how we meet potential partners. However, Rachel notes that these platforms often prioritize revenue over fostering lasting relationships, leading to a growing dissatisfaction among users. As a result, there's a shift towards more traditional methods of meeting, such as social events and clubs, which emphasize in-person interaction. At Maclynn, Rachel and her team focus on a personalized approach, considering values, life goals, and compatibility to create meaningful matches.

As a mother and entrepreneur, Rachel understands the challenges of balancing personal and professional responsibilities.
